If laboratory operators intake these toxic and harmful gases for a long time, then it will cause significant damage to the human body.So in the laboratory, fume hood is essential because it’s capable of exhausting the waste into outside to protect the safety of lab operators. It can be adopted in any labs where frequent polluted air are there. Pls check the following detailed functions:
(1) Exhaust function
The harmful gas produced inside the fume hood should be absorbed by the way of the gas outside the fume cupboard, so that it is diluted and then discharged outdoors.
(2) Non-backflow function
It should have the function of not reversely flowing harmful gases into the room from the inside of the fume hood by the air flow generated by the exhaust fan. In order to ensure the realization of this function, a fume cabinet and a fan with a single pipe connection is the right method. whe connection of single pipe is not workable, it’s only limited to the same floor and the same room, the fan should be as far as possible installed at the end of the pipe (or top of ceiling).
(3) Isolation function

(4) Supplementary functions
There shall be channels or alternative devices for air intake from outside the fume hood when harmful gases are discharged.
(5) Control wind speed function
