C-Frame science laboratory furniture is popularly used in scientific research in institution/university/pharmaceutical factory etc. It’s the choice of many customers because of its strong structure, excellent weight-bearing capacity and and generous appearance.
The main structure of Laboratory Benches is called the C-Frame, which provides support for the worktop and lab equipment. It can hold up to 200KG per meter.
C-Frames are constructed using hollow square pipes measuring 30x60x2/40x60x2.0mm. The pipes are treated, dried at 200°C, and coated with anti-acid epoxy paint. Suspended cabinets in the lab workstation are attached to the C-frame, while mobile cabinets can be placed on the floor between the C-Frames. If no cabinets are used, knee panels cover the back side. Both panels and cabinets can be easily removed to access service routes behind the furniture. C-Frames come in lengths ranging from 450 to 1800 mm and can be connected to create larger benches. They are equipped with heavy-duty adjustable feet for leveling and corrosion prevention. This is especially useful for major work in the area. If mobile cabinets are used, the entire C-frame will be covered with panels.
When pedestal lab furniture is used, then C-Frames are not necessary because it’s floor mounted and cabinets can be placed on floor directly.
For conventional C-frame, it’s a little difficult to connect with cabinets if following regular installation method on the market because that method is out of date.It would take much labour force and effort to install without ensuring the installation accuracy.
