Steel lab fume hood with new style (FC023)
Steel Laboratory Fume Hood with New Design
Model: JH-FC023
This model is a type of lab steel fume hood with popular design. In addition to its new appearance on design, it’s equipped with outstanding safety performance due to the following factors:
1. Well-designed interior structure Special design of baffle, airfoil and corner posts help form smooth airflow to minimize turbulence and ensure integrated safety and efficiency.
2.Particularly designed exhaust canopy on the top of steel fume hood made of special fire-resistant material and helps exhaust noxious air effectively and completely.
3. With specially designed aluminum alloy handle along with shock absorption strip to extend lifetime of sash and reduce noise.
Improvements on main parts of steel fume cupboard can optimize its structure and make airflow behaviour better than usual fume hood on the markets, all lead to less leakage rate for our fume cabinets. So the safety performance is excellent, which can help lab staffs keep more healthier in laboroatory environment for absorbing less chemicals.
Composite of Steel Fume Hood in Laboratory
Window:
1. A single piece of 5mm thick toughened safety glass set in a PP frame, capable of sliding horizontally and vertically within the frame.
2. Frame designed for smooth movement and can be easily stopped at any desired position by pulling up or down.
3. PP handle along the edge of the glass is resistant to chemicals.
Exterior Structure:
1. Made of 1.2mm thick cold-rolled steel that is folded, welded, polished, acid cleaned, phosphoresced, and coated with electrostatic, corrosion-resistant spray paint that is oven dried.
Interior Claddings:
5mm thick compact panels on the sides with air flow guides on top to protect the wall and allow for air discharge. Easy to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning. Resistant to acids, alkalis, moisture, and high temperatures.
Working table:
19mm epoxy resin worktop with a 25mm edge that is continuous on all four sides.
Lighting:
30 Watt daylight lamp in a gas-insulated housing to provide at least 400 LUX of light on the working table.
Socket:
Four sets of 220 volt/10 AMP multi-functional electric socket outlets with waterproof covers or other models suitable for different countries.
Lab accessories:
1. Yellow brass, epoxy resin coated water control valve and cock.
2. Yellow brass, epoxy coated gas control valve and cock. The gas valve is with safety function to avoid air leakage, it will not be unintentionally turned on unless you press it.
Controller:
LCD control panel which is capable of controlling ON/OFF of fume hood, lamp and fan. Shutdown time can be set in advance. We can furnish control panel imported from France which can show face velocity, make alarm etc.
Storage Cupboard:
1. 3 or 4 double walled doors made of 1.2 mm thick cold-rolled or galvanized steel coated with epoxy resin powder.
2. Stainless steel handles and S.S hydraulic hinges.
3. 1 PP cup sink.
4. Mobile castors if necessary.
5. Acid, solvent cabinet or steel cabinet with PP liner are avaiable for your option.
Steel Lab Fume Cupboard Safety Notice
1. Ensure the normal operation of the steel fume cupboard. Before using, check whether the ventilation system of the fume hood is functioning properly and whether the wind speed meets the requirements. If any abnormalities are found, stop using immediately and contact maintenance personnel for inspection.
2. Keep the interior of the fume hood clean. Before conducting experimental operations, the interior of the fume cabinet, especially the operating area and exhaust outlet, should be cleaned to ensure smooth exhaust.
3. Protect the operator. When using a fume hood, protective equipment such as laboratory gloves and goggles should be worn correctly. Meanwhile, it is advisable to avoid inserting body parts into the fume hood to prevent accidents.
4. Overloading is prohibited. The fume hood has a maximum load limit for safe use, exceeding which will reduce the effectiveness of the fume hood and increase the risk of accidents.
5. The use of flammable and explosive materials is prohibited. Flammable and explosive materials are not allowed to be used inside the fume hood to avoid causing fires or explosions.
6. Reasonably using fume hoods. The chemical fume hood should be used reasonably according to experimental needs, avoiding unnecessary operations inside the fume hood to avoid wasting resources and affecting the lifespan of the fume hood.
7. Regular inspection and maintenance. Lab fume hood should be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure their proper functioning. If there are any abnormal situations, the maintenance personnel should be notified in a timely manner for handling.
In short, the correct use of steel fume hoods is an important part of ensuring laboratory safety. It should be strictly operated according to the operating procedures, and the safety and daily maintenance of acid fume hoods should also be taken seriously.
